What manual do I need for the"How To" change brakes on my S-H?

While you have it apart, pull the 3 springs off the assembly and take it apart. The balls inside need to be cleaned and sanded along with the valleys they ride in. They get stuck and won't rotate if they get rusty.

If you your H is really a Super, it'll have disc brakes. They're pretty simple to take apart/replace - your really don't need a manual:

First unscrew the operating (adjusting) rod from the operating yoke/pedal mechanism, then remove the 5 cap screws from the cover. The entire brake assembly (cover with 2 friction discs and the center actuating disc assembly) will slide off the brake shaft splines. Then simply lift out the discs out of the cover - they're stacked kinda like pancakes inside. Hard to describe but simple once you see it apart...

Be prepared: Replacement friction discs are spendy. About $25 each last set I bought - and you need 2 for each brake.
