I have a 2500 B Equal to a 574 Int. What do I need to do to install a loaded on this tractor with the existing Hydraulics? It has Two remotes
run out of the transmission hydralics but does not
have a additional Hyd pump mounted on the frount.

Will the existing hyd system provide enought
capacity to operate a loader and how should I connect the loader?

Thanks Bob D

Bob, I have a loader on a 574 that is pressured from the tractor pump that feeds the remote valves. Works fine. It is a Case IH loader and I think the model is 2200. I'll try to check the numbers tomorrow.

Bob, the setup is rather straight forward. The loader is mounted using a substantial formed bracket that mounts to each side of the engine and to the area on each side of what constitutes a bell housing. This is not a fast attach loader but it is pinned and can be removed fairly easily. The main brackets remain on the tractor. On the main bracket on the right side of the tractor there is a support that the control valve is mounted to. This support extends rearward to a convenient location for using the control valve. The control valve is a joy stick type and is very satisfactory in the application. From the control valve there are two hydraulic hoses that route back to the remote couplings that are part of the original tractor. The loader hoses are plugged into these. When using the three point hitch I have to tie the hoses aside to avoid the lift arms interferring. I seldom use the tractor for anything other than loader work so this is not a problem and could be corrected using 90 degree elbows.

Thanks a lot for the info. I have one additional
question on the Hydralic hook up. You stated that you plugged the loader into the existing
Hydralic remote couplings in the rear, which I have four total. Is there anything you have to
do with the existing tractor mounted remote control valve mounted by the tractor seat to make
the control valve/joystick work on the loader?

Thanks again Bob D

Bob, I know this is very little help. I have seen a picture of a 2500A in the "IH Farm Equipt. 1831-1985" book. it looks to me to be set up for a loader and a backhoe. I would think this thing would have more than enough hydraulics to handle a loader.
About finding a loader my thoughts would be to ask an IH dealer which loader it took (ie. 2350 model etc.) and then put a wanted add out on this site with the proper model. hope this helps

Have a 574 with a Model 1550 loader(Placard says built in Canada). It's a strong unit so far.
