Hi Guys; Just an update. Well its not fuel.I checked out everything that was suggested, and no change. So I decided to check gap on new points agin .o25 seemed large. I did notice that the distributor shaft had a woople in it. I am going to put a rebuilt one on and retime. Seems like the only thing left. thanks agin to all

You didn't mention the model, but if it is an H or M the gap should be .020. If you have a wobble in the rotor shaft, set them around .018 to ensure they are closing.

When you get ready to remove the distributor, remove the valve cover and make sure you have number one piston on TDC on the compression stroke. Note your rotor position and take a picture. Should be around 1:00 position. When you install the rebuilt, More or less have the rotor pointing around the same postion. Then turn the distributor to get the nearest post lined up with the rotor position. That should get you near TDC. Firing order is stamped on the block.

Yep. I think I am over my head and wallet on this one. But since I am getting no respones (which I figured) I can ship it to the farm for $200 this summer and I will worry about it later. Gas tank is not back from the radiator shop yet. I did get the leaking hydraulic line removed yesterday. Got a good size pin hole in it as I suspected.
