I have a 1950 M with the ser. no. plate missing.I located the ser. no. on the block right front. My question is, are replacement plates available? Is it legal to replace them? Thanks for any input.

Aaron, Thanks for the info. Another site I didn't know about. Harold, I think that somewhere along the line, someone copied the ser. no. from the plate to the block. It starts with FBKM etc. Maybe not but it is at least an identifying no. Thanks again. It's going to take me years to get these two M's going at the rate I'm going.

You can do whatever you want as far as I know since the tractor is not titled, however, the engine serial number is not normally the same as the tractor serial number on your 50 M. It will be fairly close. Replacement plates are available from several advertisers.
