START WITH THE BATTCABLES THEN STARTER SWITCH BROBABLY NEED TO SPEND 30 bucks for a new 625 amp batt check the sp gravity should be at least 1250 on all three cells if one is lower than the rest no good

Can you pull start it?
Back when my great uncles were farming they used to park all the tractors on top of a hill so they could roll them down to get them started. They told me they saved alot of money in batteries that way.

Sounds like the manual start switch jumped up and swallowed its rear end.
Sometimes you can take it off and clean the contacts.
Also, sometimes the starter on my A jams the into the flywheel. I have to loosen the mounting bolts and shake it loose. I carry a wrench in the tool box just for this.
If neither of these work...may as well check the starter, but, due to cost I would do that last.
