F20 Flywheel marks

Ok, I know what D/C means on the flywheel, but
there are some other markings on there too. I
can't quite make out what these are, but the service manual doesn't say anything about them.
How critical are they to setting the timing?

Just a possibility Bruce. The WD40 has marks to tell you at what position to have the crank when removing the pistons. As the F20, 30 etc. motors of that time were also designed to have the pistons removed from below, there is probably timings marks on the flywheel for that purpose. From memory the marks on the WD40 are 1,4P and 2,3P, or something to that effect. WD40 also has marks for valve tappet settings.Regards, Redfan.
