F12 question

I removed the engine from my f12 but can't figure out how to remove the shaft that goes between the hand crank and the front of the crank shaft, to start the engine. It goes through the front bolster and the front motor mounts and has has pins so it won't go back and a universal joint prevents it from going forward. I have the service manual which doesn't say anything about this and I have a parts manual on order. Thanks in advance for any info

It should be set up like the F14. The front pin will drive out, then unbolt the front motor mount. You can then remove the assembly from the back. The shaft can then be disassembled from the motor mount. If my directions are confusing, let me know. I will post pictures of mine as it is currently apart.
