Looking for info on how to get my M set up for tractor pulling. would like to see about 80-100 hp. how much can you bore the block? do you need a stoker kit ? is a 450 head a must? what tire size ?

You can take an International 806 tractor carb, or an International 715 combine carb, and bolt the bottom of it to the top of you M carb. This will gain you somewhere in the 8-10 horsepower range. You can also offset the time to gain a few horses.

Check arround, there are pulling orginizations that only allow you 10% over Neb. test and other restrictions. Nice part is the low cost and you almost never brake down. I really like watching pulls by what rear farm tractors, not a drag race on dirt.

you better get some knowlege of the block on a M you DONT bore them 4000 will get some HP but you dont seem to understand what you are working with the block on a M is a sleeved engine start there and go have a bunch of money A 600IN oliver will eat you for lunch

It can be done. A good pile of cash with no bottom is neeed. Go to the tractor pulling board for good ideas.
