Great picture and a nice looking machine Brian. Are there stories behind the dents in the front???

I'm sure there are stories. I just don't know what they are I bought the tractor from a junk dealer about a year ago and am not sure who owned it before. I use it to brush hog with and finally decided to fix the T/A and 5th gear as I was finishing that up it seamed like a shame not to go ahead and paint it. If I had realized it was going to look this good I would have fixed the dents and took a little more time with it.

Brian that will give you something to do down the road. It is a little tedious to straighten out the dents, but that will give you an excuse to get out of the house!!

Andy that paint is VanSickle brand paint from our local Farm & Home store I Painted it myself and I'm not a painter so it must be the paint. It is made just for tractors & equipment and is IH red.

Brian that is what I used on the 1951 H last year. I used 30 spray cans on my project.

I looked at them spray cans and then got 1 gallon of paint and 1 $40.00 spray gun and a gallon of naptha thinner. This way it took less than 1/2 a gallon of paint so I have paint and the gun for the next one (when the wife lets me get a next one )

I have never done a good job painting with a sprayer. Someday I will practice on my combine when I have time.
