The oil filter case and retaining bar on the H changed with s/n 121022. I don't have a list of s/n handy but I'll bet some one else has that info.

Another question.

The tractors were not sold as year models. We know the year only from production records.

I am curious why the interest in production year for a particular tractor? Any answers?

It seems to be an extension of the automakers' sales ploy of year model. But I may be missing something.

Certainly at 50 to 60 years old the condition is based on usage and maintenance history rather than age.

I don't about the filters, but if I was looking to buy one I'd jot down a list of the serial numbers for each year.
