I also use DELO 400 30wt oil in my H. It is really good oil. As a matter of fact I use DELO 15w40 in my volvo. If you didn't know it DELO stands for diesel engine lubricating oil. The advantage of using DELO is that dirt stays in suspension. Try it.

RC,
I use Chevron Delo 400 30WT in all my tractors. That way I have no problem remembering what goes where and I always know when I'm low and need to restock.

Phil, we share a common practice with the delo 400 30wt. I also switch my road vehicles to the oil after their mileage trip to over 100K. My old Cat uses the oil throughout the machine. Results have always been good with the product.

Funny you guys mention Delo... That's what they used in dad's rigs.. Drove 500,000 miles + before first overhaul on more than one of the rigs he had. (logged over 300,000 miles a year) He also used it in all of his vehicles.. His '89 Chevy pu went 250,000 and never so much as had the valve cover removed. Now I'm wondering why we're not using it in the tractors...??? Or my '86 chevy for that matter.. haha
