Hello ,
Was not sure about when to retorque the head gasket . I ran it an hour so it got to operating temperature . Should I retorque hot ?
I really have to get the book on this some day .
I have a new gasket and used RTV Blue sealer on the timing cover . The top middle bolt has a few drops a minute leak . Is there supposed to be a copper washer here ? Thanks

Bob you could stick a copper washer on there but no it did not come with one.

I would run a couple of hours on the engine and then retorque. I also retorqued around 29 hours but only the two middle bolts were slightly out of torque.

When you re-torque, be sure it's a cool engine. A warm or hot engine will cause the torque values to change.
