International Harvester Company listed these 2 tractors as; McCormick Deering 15-30 McCormick Deering 15-30 (22-36)
Their was 1 Parts Catalog that covered both vehicles,in the last year production of the McCormick Deering 15-30 (22-36) tractor.

Easiest way to identify difference, is to check for a water pump. 15-30 doesn't have one. Also a slight difference in style of side curtains, if they're still fitted. Mechanically, 22-36 has 6.75in. bore as distinct from 6.50in bore of 15-30, both are 6in. stroke. Extra 50rpm at rated speed on 22-36, 1050 vs 1000.
Slight differences in manifolding and I think, changes to gearbox. Regards, Redfan.

Redfan..... Shouldn't that be a 4 1/2" bore for the 15-30 and 4 5/8" (or 4 3/4", forgot which) for the 22-36?

Dick, you're dead right. No more posting at that time of night when I should be in bed. Apologies to you and Bryan.
Bores are 4.50 & 4.75. Regards, Redfan.
