On the Super H, the throwout bearing is shot. I seem to recall someone saying that the bearing cannot be found anymore. is this true? I don't want to waste time searching for a phantom, if it is such.

I took the clutch out of my MD to a clutch and brake shop to have it rebuilt. They had a TO bearing in stock and installed it as well as a complete rebuild of the clutch with new lining and new springs in the pressure plate. I assume it would be no different for a Super H.

I put one in my Super C this summer and I got it from the local IH Case dealer. I don't have the ticket right here in front of me but I was thinking somewhere between $15 and $25. It was not a bad job to do. Mine had slipped on the shaft and was spinning with the shaft. It was trashed. The previous owner had adjusted the clutch play nut all the way out trying to compensate for it.It would about throw you off the back of the tractor when you tried to take off. I would not think the one for the H would be any harder to find then mine was. Good luck.
