What would a Farmall 400 be worth. The tires are about 40%, needs paint but all metal is good and straight and has power steering?

Alan, I bought my 400 in 1999 in northern IL for $2300. It had the following spec.

1. Working TA
2. Live Hyd.
3. Aftermarket power steering.
4. Aftermarket 3 point hitch.
5. 12 volt converted.
6. About 60% rubber.
7. Narrow front.
8. New paint.
9. Tin about average to above.

I hope this helps.

John

Alan:

Worth depends on a lot of things besides those you've listed. First off, how well does it run, assuming that it does? Also, where are you located (values vary widely in various parts of the country). Does it have the following, and do they work: TA, Fast Hitch, hydraulic remotes, IPTO, lights, 12V conversion, tach & other guages?

I expect that if you supply most of the above information, you'll be able to get some reasonably good idea of worth from the people on this board.
