Why is the F-20 such a power loss. I have three and can't make them pull good at all the JD A's and Oliver 70's just eat em up. Any suggestions or comments would be great. Thanks for reading viewer.

Thanks

The F-20 is not a weak tractor, the problem with the 20 is that it is geared to high. I know a guy that pulls a F-20 with a heisler road gear that is regeared to slow the tractor down, he pulls every year with hopped up A`s and in the 3 bottom class. Very strong F-20.

I have a 36 F-20 stock that pulls very well I put it on a pulling sled pulled it to the end. The hole in the power jet on the carberator was very small(new kit) we drilled it larger, very carefully and it ran alot better, you don't even have to take the carb. off to do it
