I got a compression Tester for Christmas and not sure what to do. Should I remove all the plugs while performing the test,or just remove the plug from the cylinder that is being tested. I did a test with leaving them in exept one and got 90psi. I always heard you should at least have 100psi. The tractor runs good. Any help would be great.

Blu,
Once you get the numbers for all the cylinders, they should be within 5% of each other (or so).
90PSI sounds ok for an M, they didn't have very high compression to begin with. The "standard" gasoline compression ratio for an M is 5.65:1.
A Kerosene or tractor fuel M would've had 4.5:1 or so.

Phil

Also, make sure that the throttle is wide open and choke is not on.

Yes, conduct the compression tests with all the spark plugs out. Let the tractor turn over several times until the needle stops advancing. Didn't you get any instructions with the unit?
