I know this is a busy forum, but I have seen more double posts in the last week than I have in the last year. Just wondering if there are more new people that haven't figured out the trick or if there is something new with the board that I'm missing. The trick is, once you hit submit, you get a preview of your post, hit post and it's posted. Hit the back button once, and you see the preview again. Then you've forgotten you already posted it, so you hit post a second time. I've done that a couple of times. Just have to pay attention when you post to make sure it gets posted, then hit the back button more than once to avoid that post button again. Just something to consider. I don't mind the double posts, but after a while, they get a bit annoying. Aaron

I'm not sure all the double posts are caused by people forgetting they clicked. The times I have double posted has been caused by the system being slow.

If you get impatient and click the submit button a second time, while the first post is still being transmitted, usually a double post will occur. If it takes more than 2-3 seconds, the post probably went through the first time.

If in doubt, copy the text and then submit. If it takes a while, don't click a second time. Back out to the main forum page and hit your refresh button. If your post took, it will appear. If it didn't go pack and paste your text into a new post and try again....BB
