H Loader ?'s

I want to get a loader for my 52 H here soon and have a couple ?'s. I have seen the older style loaders on H's. It doesnt matter which one I get but I just wondered if like the No. 33 loader would fit onto it or something that had a newer look? Also, I have a 3pt. hitch on it and want to know how I can have a loader and 3pt. hooked to the pump at the same time and being able to cut one on and the other off and so forth? Thanks!!!

We paid $600 for a 41 H with a loader. It cost $60 to get the seals for the Hyd. cyls. So you might look around for an old H with a loader and then have a parts tractor. We also spent about another $1500 to fix up the tractor. Looks and runs good now.

I've got a BushHog/Freeman front loader on my M. It's mid-70's model and works well. I also have a 3pt hitch. My solution isn't elegant, but it's cheap, and it works!

I installed a ball-type shut-off valve in each hydraulic line, the two to the loader, and the one to the hitch. When I want to use the 3pt hitch, I move the loader to a height that I feel I can live with for a while, and turn the levers on those two valves to the "off" position. The loader is then locked at that level, and the 3pt hitch is ready to use. Turning off the 3pt line allows me to open up the loader again.

Another solution is to install some additional hydraulic valves and more lines. I haven't had to use both at the same time, so mine will likely stay like it is for a while.

john d, That sounds like a good solution to me. I want to try to find a later model one but it doesnt really matter. We have a bunch of stuff around here that needs to get loaded up. The loader on our B-275 is ok but its kinda broke right now. Do you know approx. how high your loader goes up? Also, what would be a reasonable price to pay for one? I've seen them $300-900 so I dont really know. Thanks!!

Well...I have no idea what one will cost you.

As to how high it lifts - I guess I've never really paid much attention. I'd say the bottom of the bucket will go well over 8 feet off the ground. It's always gone as high as I needed it to go!

I have an older loader on an H that i would sell cylinders dont leak and it has forks. I think its a 33IH but not sure. Im in Ohio if that helps. Ive lifted 1500 lb round bales with it. thanks ange
