i just acquired a co-op e3 and everyones tellin me that it puts too much wear and tear on them to pull with em... is that true and should i just scrap the idea or should i go for it anyways?

They are a great pulling tractor. I have been pulling a Cockshutt 30 (which is the same tractor as a CO-OP E-3 with different nose strip name and different paint), for about 5 years now and have had no problems with it. They have very strong transmissions and rear ends.

As the previous response stated, go for it and have fun.

Lets see...You pull with it and total hours for the season will be maybe 3 hours pulling time. You plow with it one day and get maybe 7 hours on it. Pull with it and you will be looking at things every 15 minutes of pulling time. you will spot problems quickly. I don't see why you would encounter any excessive wear doing a little pulling. Go for it and have FUN.
