I'm building a 1466 for stock and hot farm class would like to know what class would it run in and is it possible to get in 9,000lbs class? It has the 436 motor in it will that be good in the class I put it in? I heard you could put a combine rear on the front of tractor to make it lighter is this true? If so what combine would I be looking for? The motor was just rebuilt this past winter with a new turbo. The pump is already turned up. It is putting out over the stock ponies. Any help you have would be great I need all the info and ideas I can get. Thanks again Jeremy

Depends on the rules . If you have to keep it stock appearing , meaning the 3pt rockshaft , pto and original wide front has to be on . If that's so you can put disk wheels on and make it down to around 10,000 that's about as low as you can get with all the equipment on . If you don't have to have the stuff on you can go down from there depending how much work you want to do .
Most of the 9,10 and 14's around here run 10,000lb with disk wheels .

There is a narrow front 1466 running around here in 8500. Don't know exactly what all he's stripped, but he does carry a little weight in 8500.
