I am curious , is any one trying this porting method on heads, and , or manifolds since it is the most productive porting aid.

The extrude hone allows porting of the head & manifold as a unit for improved flow. It removes metal from restrictive points without oversizing the port causing a loss of low end torque.

I have wondered the same thing. My guess is that it would be better to use on long, twisty stock intake manifolds than it would be for porting the head. On the heads, you want to 'shape' the ports some so I don't think it would be as good. Just my thoughts. I would be curious to hear from somebody who has used it.

I uesd it on a manifold, works great. Expensive thou, The inside was smooth as glass when they were done. It's best to do any hand work or grinding in it first, then it will be blended in very well after the honing
