Can someone please direct me to a chatroom or furnish me a phone number now today that I can ask some technical questions concerning placing a three inch ball for towing a heavy trailer much farther behind the axle on the tow vehicle than is normally seen? Many Thanks, Sonny Heath

Dewayne told me about what you are building this weekend. We saw several set ups like what you are planning on building. We went to the NTPA pull in Chapel Hill, TN. If I had known you were looking for something like this I would have asked someone who did their work. It looked like when they built the truck they added the hitch, I would check some of the custom coach builders like featherlight, maybe a local freighliner dealer can help.

Thanks John, Dewayne told me about those guys having some unbelievable haulers. Can you think of any way I might be able to get up with them or do you know any websites where I can view these rigs? I decided to go ahead and get mine stretched and am leaving the intermediate differential in so I hopefully won't overload the front axle. I had planned to remove the intermediate but decided against it at the last minute. A frame shop in Birmingham who has been doing that kind of work since 1947 is doing it and I will go get it on Tuesday. The wheelbase will be twenty eight foot. Sonny
