I am currently running Champion D21's in my G, but I am not much of a Champion fan... I do a few local pulls with this tractor, and would like to know what AC or Autolite plugs work for other people. Engine is pretty much stock, orignial 12V + ground, standard points&condensor, etc. I'm running pump gas, nothing fancy, just want to stop replacing plugs every couple of months.

Thanks
MWB

Jesus son, I wouldn't run Champions in my lawn mower! Get either the ACs or the Autolites and forget about plug problems with your machine.

Autolite 386 or 388's depending on how rich it runs with the 388's being the hotter.C86 is the AC number and is what I am running now in my G.Hope this helps.

if you want to run a hot plug NGK makes one that will replace your stock plugs the number that is on the plug is A-6 the stocking number is 1010.they are super great plug and i have never fouled one in two years.they are really great if you run high octane fuel in your tractor and have a real hot ignition system on your tractor.

Bought a set of N.G.K. A-6 for my 1950 "G".Will not fit due to the 1 inch hex. What gives? Went back to Auto Lites.

Will have to look to see the number, but am running AC, and haven't had a plug out of the tractor since 1991. 1938 "G"
