Farmall M pulling ?????????????

I just built my M for pulling didn't do to much but did somethings.I was just wondering knowing that it is built a little bit do you guys think that a M would be good in the 7000lbs class??? And what kind of tractors would I pull against???? Any help would be great Jeremy

Your M will do very well in 7000; I agree with the previous poster. Balance is important, and first gear is a must. My SMTA pulls best in 7500/8500.

It will pull in 7000. And do better than it would in 5000. Ask me, I've been there. The one critical element, of course, is how you balance the tractor, weight-wise.

OBTW, with an M in 7000, don't even think of anything but first gear.

All u reely need is about 300 inches. You could
use a 450 motor.

something you might want to do in REALLY heavy classes is get a set of rare creeper low gears for the transmission, i have heard of an M with a M&W 9speed loaded up to 13,000 beating 4010 deeres but it was bored pretty good.
