I am looking at a cockshut 30. This this a good choice to make into a pulling tractor? How much power can one get out of it, and what can be done to it? Think that it is a 4 cylinder. Don't know anything about these, so all suggestion welcomed.
Engine is stuck as it sits.

Well with the stock sleeves you can bore it to 3-9/16". I have been told that stroking the engine a 1/2" can be done with the stock rods with a little grinding on the cam and rods. As far as going to 4.0" you have to machine out the sleeve area which is spendy unless you have the equipmet yourself or a really good friend. Even at that you will have to go dry block. The Cockshutt 30 has lots of nice gears for div. 1, 2 or even 3. Good luck and have fun.
