I have high alltitude pistons that come about 1/8 above the deck. I have been looking for a gas head and now have found out that with the gas head the pistons don't have anywere to go. It only has a bathtub like chamber and it is the same level as the deck of the head around the chamber. I thought about milling the pistons level were it won't hit the head and leave it high were it goes in the head. Just turn it into a dome piston. That is if the piston is thick enough. Any other ideas?? I need to get the head down to 120 cc to get the compression I want.

What is this on? a cc head is open where a dc head is either closed or semi closed chamers. Don't forget your gasket thickness, you could use 2 gaskets and no machine work is necessary.
