going to my second pull saturday got the drawbar 19.25 inches high does 3/4" make much differance also i have a drawbar jaw - it bolts to the top of the drawbar. Are crooked clevis allowed? Would i be allowed to hook to the jaw on top (20 inches easy to get there)? the tractor is a SuperWD6. Need all the help you can give please!

I would be concerned about the drawbar length. 18 from center axle out . Too long is going to raise the front.Earl

If you can keep the front end down 3/4" will make a difference. We can pull with the drawbar jaw in stock classes in Florida. It depends what color those in charge like.

Thanks for the advise. we pulled maple log tonight 24" across 30 feet long didn't break anything, this tractor was 6595 pounds without the battery or pully on it. Seems a lot heavyer than the farmalls.

Mark: SEAMO has a good point. Get the drawbar as short as you can to get close to the 18" back rule. Log pulling is OK but not a good test. I had a 20hp Case VAC weighted down to 45003's that would pull 20" DIA 20' long with ease.

Pulled ok, the pull was antique only, 30" from center of axle to pulling point, maximum 20" high. We were allowed to use the jaw after I showed them it was an original part. Then watched two other W6 be allowed to pull without even a drawbar on them!WHined and bitched till they were allowed. Stock holes in the drawbar are almost 38" from the axle center to the hole. with the only tractor there with loaded tires we pulled 50 foot 5 inches The sled was over loaded (they didn't add any wieght for the 7500 class)couln't move it in 2 gear had to use first, a cocksutt didn't move it at all!the only thing that was good was a rebuilt Farmall 450D with new tires only went 55' . Tractor was 6580 pounds and the front never came up
