WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO PUT ADDED SUITCASE WEIGHTS ON J.D."D", FOR PULLING? ANYONE HAVE PLANS FOR ALTERNATE BRACKETS TO HANG FROM? ANY SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED,ANY BRACKET PLANS APPRECIATED.

Hello Danny, you will have to worry about the front end in all classes @ 20",unless you run a short drawbar, then no pull down, just a lot of spin out's, getting it to the ground is the big problem with D's.
I have been getting by pretty good for 2 years now with the simple bar on the front axle for 6500 and 7500" class's.will hold 8 weights and keeps it pretty compact.
I will email you a picture of mine to give you an idea what mine looks like and one like Seamo is talking about.

If you are planning on pulling in the 5500lb class you will more than likely just need to worry about the front end.I have been involved with a"D" here in Illinois. We had trouble with the front end until they put the 11 ft rule in.11 ft. from center of rear axle to farthest point on nose,weight or bracket. Then we could compete with the rest of tractors in the class. We had to put tin wheels (38in) on back to do that.
