Hey LW, What weigh class do you and the other heavy super pullers want in the 12MPH class. I know the promoter of the Oakboro pull and I will talk to him.

OK,LW I will see what I can do about getting some 12MPH classes in that range. However, understand the owner of the sled (not the promoter) has a super tractor and it will not run that fast so we might see how many feathers he has on his leggs.

The reason they don't run a 12 mph class in the high classes is because the Mighty Massey can't run that fast. We wouldn't want him to lose.

To be honest, we've never had a tractor in the heavier classes that could run 12 MPH. I'm sure if we had enough to come, we could have a 12 MPH for them also.

I've been hearing that a very wicked MM, a nasty 990 Oliver, AND a rompin stompin M farmall are wanting to pull the heavy super classes at the SATPA pull in Oakboro. I also heard about a 400 farmall that would like to get in on it too if he's back in town. Does that horn have an on/off switch on it? Maybe yall could consider snipping a wire or sticking a tater in that old horn just for that one little old pull. Sounds like it's going to be a pretty good good one, and maybe not the last at that location. I'd sure like to see some good strong competition. How bout yall?

SURE AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THE OAKBORO PULL. IT SURE WOULD BE NICE TO SEE A LOT OF TRACTORS IN THE SUPER CLASSES. WE USUALY DON'T HAVE BUT A COUPLE TRACTORS TO SHOW UP WITH CUT TIRES . FOR THAT MATTER IT WOULD BE A WELCOMED SIGHT TO SEE A LOT OF ENTRIES IN THE STOCK CLASSES TOO. SOUNDS LIKE THIS WILL BE A GOOD PULL . LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING SOME FAMILUAR FACES AND HOPEFULLY SOME NEW ONES TOO. I'VE NEVER HEARD OF ANYONE BEING CARRIED TO JAIL FOR BLOWING THE HORN AT A TRACTOR PULL. SOMETIME YOU JUST CAIN'T HELP IT WHEN THE HORN BLOWS. HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL AT THE PULL. DR SR

DR WHAT IS THE TIME AND DATE OF OAKBORO. BE SURE TO TO HAVE A 12MPH 3700 CLASS. I WILL BE THERE AS LONG AS WE DON'T HAVE OTTPA PULL. CHANGED NAMES BUT I,M SUSE YOU KNOW WHO I AM. BY THE WAY IN THE 7700 SUPER 8MPH OR 7.5MPH,I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IF WE CAN BE COMPETITIVE.

Bring your 3700 Class, 12mph tractor and show us how it is done. I'd pay your hook fee just to see you run down the track.

Kinda planning on going to Oakboro next month but if they have 200 hooks with the SATPA sled like they had at Woodleaf saturday nite with OTTPA you reckon that they better start at 6AM on Sat morning so it will be over with by church time on Sunday?

Looking forward to Oakboro, hope to have many from other organizations pulling with us. I will be in charge of showing BIG DADDY how to act. Bring your best because "old bulldog" will be trying to get a red, white, & blue trophy with three columns. Hope to see my "orange" friends again this year.

In reference to the 'bulldog sled" you refer to? Is that the sled Steve Core (old Eastern club) built out of a Mack truck? If so that is a poor excuse for a transfer sled. The operator can make or break you with a slight touch of the steering wheel. Believe me I know from experience.

Were those Bulldog tractors made by the Mack Truck company or was it a Sears Roebuck conversion or something like that? Is it gas or diesel? I think my uncle used to have one but I never got to see it. Interested in selling it?

Luther, it's a gas and NOPE it's not for sale - not made by Mack Truck or by Sears - come to Oakboro to see "him" [hopefully to see 'him' take home some glory, but if not that's OK too - 'he' & I just wanna have fun (-: ]

The "Bulldog" did extremely well, could you slip a paint job in for our Super H. Paint sometimes destroys the character of a machine, so use good judgement.....
