You don't really want to go there do you? Buying a sled and putting on pulls?

Why not? Seems like a simple thing to do... just cook up some greasy hamburgers, rent a portapot, make up a set of rules to suit your own tractor and charge everyone else to hook up!

Yep, that's all there is to it!! Build it and they will come, huh? MAYBE the 1st time. I'm still trying to figure how one sets rules for his own tractor when there are so many more tractors running on the track in different classes.
Let us know when you're all set up and ready to pull with your rules.
Have a great day.

My 2 cents worth,

Go with a combination of OTTPA's and CATPA's rules. They are simple and easily enforced. I don't think the low gear/stock deal is working. Everybody with a few ponies under the hood wants to go faster. Most will get mad when they get caught or flat deny it. Limit it to about 1 pull a month, and tell the 4WD pickups to go pull somewhere else.

Well thanks DRIFTWOOD,

Hope your'e doing well. Hey, sounds like somebody down your way has never seen the WILDMAN pull before. I'd say they're in for a treat. Sounds like a big crowd is coming to that Oakboro pull. Would be a great place for "somebody" to show off a new paint job wouldn't it? It would also be great if somebody were to take a few pics and stats to submit to the HOOK magazine. I'm sure a lot of local pullers would really be tickled to see their picture and name appear in the HOOK.

Check you later! farmallflogger

Hmmmmm, new paint job!!! You haven't done something to yours, have you [especially after having lunch with JDChick]? I kinda like mine the way it is, but might see what changes can be made by Oakboro. Oakboro should prove to VERY interesting.
Like your idea about pictures and am sure that can be arranged. It's time some 'real' pullers were featured in the HOOK.

Naw mine is still as red as a fox's.... Uh well it's still red anyway. It is getting a little dirty, and water is getting in such short supply I'm bout fraid if I wash it I won't be able to take a shower. Oakboro will probably be the next pull I make it to, and maybe we'll all get some rain before then. I'll be counting on seeing you on the cover of The Hook in an upcoming issue.
