My buddy and I are tired of his H getting abused at the pulls. It's time for some RED PRIDE! We plan to pull the sleeves and bore it for a larger piston, port, polish and shave the head, put a Vinson intake with a M carb on it, have the cam reground, and go whup some green. Anyone have more good ideas? We'll probably pull the engine this weekend. Thanks

No substitute for cubic inches. The SH I had several years ago was bored to take small block chevy pistons. Did not have it stroked but should have. You could probably find a stock IH piston with similar bore to sm. bl. Chevy with a wrist pin size that would fit a std. H rod.
