I want to install a turbo on my U Allis. It's 318 C.I.D and runs about 1650 RPMS. Any idea where to look for one that would be compatable with it? Thanks in advance.

Troy, I'm not trying to pursuade you not to install a turbo, and I don't know anything about your model of tractor, but keep in mind that installing a turbo on a naturally aspirated engine can create some conditions that the engine wasn't designed for. Compressed air is hotter, so your engine temp will go up and increase the load on the cooling system. Your lubrication system is also going to have to be up to snuff to deal with the additional heat load and flow requirements, which is why M&W offered larger oil pans with it's turbo kits. These probably won't be big factors for the short lenths of time you'll be running during pulls, but if the tractor will see field work, you'll want to keep an eye on these items. You'll also need to increase your fuel delivery to meet the greater air delivery. I would suggest installing a pyrometer and oil temp gauge if you plan on working it. Good luck with your Allis.

It may see three pulls a year. Thinking of adding a electric fuel pump and maybe oilpump if possible. She runs very cool right now, but with the cold air manifold that I am running I was wondering about iceing up? If gets frosty right now. It's all for fun we don't want to rip it apart and stick alot of money into a good running stock tractor, just turn some heads of the big guys in the open 4500# class. With out hurting anything.

I don't know about a set up for an allis, but I do have a turbo that was built for an M5 that I do not think we will use. It is a holeset. The M5 is a minnie that runs 336 cu.in. at about 1700 rpm. This turbo is new and built by a guy who pulls a UB MM.
