Well puller sorry to disappoint you regarding saving up for the almighty dump stirring but the wife has me applying crap to the dining room walls. It isn't Deere yellow but it is a check off my list of things to do before the pulling season starts :-)

I believe there was a topic some time ago that resulted in me being crowned the King of the Dumb answers. It involved my opinion of how high compression can work against an 2-cylinder tractor. We broke out the physic books and even ended up calling each other bad names. But you know what I am still standing behind my original thought.

Because of high high compression, you can't lug a John Deere down to a few hundred rpms (like the are know for). There is almost 540 degrees of crankshaft rotation without other cylinders on the power stroke. The engine momentum is carried by the heavy flywheel and rotating assembly. Yes, there is both potential and kinetic energy in that rotating assembly. Yes, you will loose performance on the low rpm curve because that rotating assembly has to compress that fuel mixture before that little stud goes spark spark. 1 spark unless you are running an MSD.
Yes I bought a MSD box because the neighbor that has the black dog with only three legs is married to a ex-trooper that arrest this guy who had an MSD box in his car. The same car that was used in a robbery of an MSD outlet. I guess the cop barely caught the car equipped with a MSD box because he was running low octane gas in his squad car. I figure if he would of spent less money on donuts and more on an MSD box for his police car, he would of had an easier time catching the robber. Rumor in these parts is that the cop shot at the robber but hit the dog in the leg. Now the dog is part of the local K-9 unit.

Gary, I love s___ stirring 'specialy with 'ol Burnsey. My opinions of the whiners and gloaters on this board hasn't changed at all. Have noticed that you enjoy stirr'en since you jumped on here a month ago too. Have at it fellow stirrer, we are different people than the whiners and BS artists.
