My baby brother wants to buy a tractor in the lighter stock classes for restoration and pulling. Does anyone have experience or can offer suggestions as to the potential of a Case SC in competion? (Not starting a color war, here!) Thanks.

I pulled my sc in a stock class from the draw bar and won which is not saying much when there was only 5 tractors in it. I have herd you can put 350 chevy pistons in a bored out sc. but you might as well use a dc with steel rims and strip down will make 4000 pound class. good luck.
