I would like to know what if anything could be done to my JD H to make it a puller and if there is someone I could contact for advice

I like Deere, but I cant see a true way of making an H into a puling tractors. The boys below are even being charitable in suggesting a B as a puller. Get atleast an A or a 60, and start having some fun. Save that H as a good, fun piece of History. Good Luck, Greg H.

Bill: Hey,Al is giving you some good honest advice this is not the tractor that you want to try to make a serious puller out of.It may be O.K.for light classes,I have seen some pull they did alright but I would try to find a B to pull seriously with. Rich

Bill,
You may want to search the archives,I think the H drives off the camshaft and when you finally get it to start making power it twists the cam off.
If JD is your brande even a B is tuff to be competitive A's $$$ G's $$$$$$$$
