Is it possible to bore a Case DC sleeve to 4-1/4 ??? Also are the 4" sleeves thicker on OD then a 3-7/8?? I know they go in the same hole size, but is there any thinner spots that would make boring a 4" better then a 3-7/8.

Hey i would love to talk case pulling with you. I pull a C in the 3500 - 4500. As far as the sleeve is concerned i heard 4 1/8 is the limit and that is questionable 4/16 will go easy. My eng is a loose 4 inch and i do run out of power at 4500 but winter is coming on and ive got lots of plans. Good luck

You will not have enough metal left if you try to bore stock sleeves to 4 1/4 - you can take 3 7/8 out to 4.
