Hey guys,

In your opinion, is it better to pull with a larger rim (14-15 inch) for 14.9X38 tires, or would you stick with the standard 11 inch rim?

Thanks!

I have a B that I put pressed steel rims on last year. I found a set of 16" rims that had 18.4- 38 tires on them. On a 16" rim they look mean and have quite a foot print.

I just mounted a set of 14.9 Firestone F&R on 14" rims and they still crown some. 11" would have been way to narrow.

The 14in rim sure makes the tire sit flatter on the ground, and looks better too.. the 11-12 in rim is just too narrow for the 14.9 rim. JDGnut

I'll send you a pic of our 70 with the 14.9's on 14 rims.
