I saw a power block for a JD G that was borded out to 7 1/2.

I have a friend that has bored his G to crank out 75 horsepower on the dynometer w/o the air cleaner hose connected.

I guess I do know a guy that went .045 over 6.750
But thats really thin. About 2 inchs of the sleeve in the back, I just cut it off when going this big. You'll see what I mean when you look at the sleeve.
I don't know why G Power Blocks read 7-1 on the block. That's why alot of people think they have 7 inch pistons. I had some old boy's tell me that Johnson Co. made a 7 inch bore block, can't say that I have ever seen one.

6.750 bore !
Alot of people bore them out to 6.625 or 6.6875 bore with no problems.
