First let me say i'm not going to build a pulling tractor, could not afford to build one. but i would like to know how to build one. I recently saw a IH C pull in the 2500# class ( i think) and win. it came out later with half wheel weights and pulled against ih H's (3000#?). later came out with full wheel weights and pulled against IH Ms and SM. engine looked stock (on the outside) so how'd he do it? i know its cubic inches but how? thanks for sharing top secret info, i'll tell noone.

farmall c's share the same internal parts as f12-f14-a-b-100-200-240.There is lots of room for longer stroke and more compression also check the block IH 504 blocks fit in there 154 cube stock

Must have been a local person because the rules stated (one hook per tractor). He had two tractors one IH C and one IH H. his daughter and his son both pulled the C, and his son and himself both pulled the H.

Are you talking about the ones at Concord? They
were definitely hitting a good lick.

They did a excellent job on the track and their
4.5 MPH speed limit made for a good pull.Glad I
brought my lighter tractors because of the rain later.
