Can anyone tell me what an Oliver 88 weighs. I am going to a pull soon, and I will be in the class with the 88's. I am trying to figure out how heavy to be with my WD45. I was thinking of putting fluid in the tires and a couple hundred pounds on the nose. Where I am pulling they make the 45's pull with the 88's no matter how light your 45 is. My tractor weighs 3,825 with me on it and no weights. I dont want to be real heavy because it is a percentage pull. Thanks in advance, Dennis

got an 88 myself and just put pressed steel on it with 15.9's.It has the later hydraulics on it also and a belt pully ,stock hitch and no weights, before I put the water in the tires it the tractor itself was 4060 on certified scales. After water it is now 5340 but I like the heavier classes. By the way, anyone know why the tires shake a little now? Never had this problem with the cast wheels.

I recently purchased an 88 and was asking the same question. My Oliver has 14-9 x 38 on pressed wheels, heavy front hubs, series 2 hydraulics, no belt pulley, wheelie bars, rear weight brackets, mid bar, front weight bracket and I weigh 210 myself and was able to go across the scales with one hundres pounds hanging on it for the 4500# weight class.

My 88 weighs 4,980. That's with 13.6 tires, heavy cast wheel centers in rear, heavy cast wheels in the front, about 80lbs. of antifreeze in front tires, stock drawbar, no hydualic unit, no belt pulley. I weigh 270lbs.
