Lustik's Silver Bullet/NATPA board meets at Macon,MO

It's true...same people that measure Bill Bears block (his board buddies) have also measured and confirmed that the Silver Bullet's motor is also the same length as a 460!! They measured it at Macon, MO (aka Show Me Showdown Natl Pull) and said, yes, it is the same length!! Well, actually, it is 1/8" at least shorter than a 460, but said if Bear can do it, the board will allow Lustik's also, especially since their heads were not cut down to fit! They only get 880 rpms though (Oliver-White connection) NOT the 460/660 rpms! A arguement did take place saying they were more 460 than Bears 360 diesel with V-8 heads BUT Bear got the board to see it his way...then he took them all out for supper again!! Lustiks hope someday to be the east coast rep for NATPA and get their rpms up to 7000, continuation of later model,etc,etc like the 660 deal!! We welcome our newest member!!
