I am NEW here. I have what is beleived to be a near mint 64 Jacobsen "Cheif 1000". I've been told that it "shows up BIG at MINI-PULLS. I didn't know such a pull even exists! I might like to give that a try! I've had her for a long time and always said she could climb a tree if I had 'TRACTOR" tires and larger rims on her.ALL cast iron and forget pushing it back to the barn if it runs out of gas. For now it sports the origional Kohler 10 horse and only smokes when the block is cold.What engine is a popular one for the little pullers?...or is there a stock unmodified class? I'm pretty proud of her. I have a picture here on the sight in the photo section. ANY information is appreciated. This could be FUN!!

Rick, I'm on the very southern tip of Illinois. Paducah Ky. is just right across the bridge.I may get into the sport wheather the ol' Jacobsen sells or not. I'll probably need to see what's going on before I build one anyway, but I know she'd be a good one. Give me an e-mail and we'll keep in touch. Thanks for your response, Boomer
