First, I would like to commend the Hinson family for constructing the finest tractor pulling facility that I have ever been to and I have been to a lot. I am sure that he will have more in the future and it will get even better. There was a couple of things that happend that I have to comment about and ask what happend? There was a IH that got DQed because a decal fell off. I thought it was going thru some kind of metamorphosis. I know that there are a lot of M's that are actually Super M's, 400, and 450's on the inside but this was only time I have ever seen a Super "M" turn into a "M" right befor my eyes. But what really tripped my trigger was when a JD "G" out pulled the mighty Massey. Was that for real?
A very simple solution to the 14 hr. pull would be to let the trucks pull Fri. nite and the tractors pull Sat. or do NOT intermingle the truck and tractor classes. Let them finish and go home or let the tractors finish and go home. The spectators that want to hang around, fine.

I am planning to try to get some soil samples of Stanly county because the clay seems to have much more suction on the sled depending on who is hooked to it. I think I heard something about it on the Twighlight Zone..

SOME PEOPLE JUST DON'T HAVE A THING TO DO. YOU MUST BE ONE OF THEM PEOPLE. SOME PEOPLE ARE MEMBERS OF PULLING CLUBS AND SOME ARE MEMBERS OF WHINING CLUBS . DON'T THINK I'D WANT TO BE A MEMBER OF THE LATTER. SOUNDS LIKE SOME ARE CHARTER MEMBERS IN THE WHINERS . OLD CASE POWER MIGHT EVEN BE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD.

Well when you have a tractor that doesent lift the front end on anyother track on any other sled in the country and you pile 900 pounds extra on the front because you cant put it any where else and stand in straight up out of the hole when comparable club members tractors have no wieght on the front and everything stacked on the back and dont even bump the govenor taking off it should be fairly obvious that something underhanded is going on. But i like the reply below by a defending club member " you should have brought more tractor better luck next time" sound like someone knew exactly what was going to havppen and now there gloating about it.

I RAN AN EXTRA 200 ON THE FRONT AND 200 EXTRA ON THE BELLY ALL 400 CAME OFF THE BACK . IT WAS SIMPLE . IT IS MUCH HARDER TO PULL 27,000 LBS UP A HILL WHEN THE TIRES ON THE SLED THAT IS SUPPORTING THAT WEIGHT IS BOGGING IN THE GROUND 2-3". THE ONLY THING I SAW GOING ON WAS, RAPID CHANGING TRACK CONDITIONS . THOSE WHO READ THE TRACK THE BEST AND HAD A LITTLE LUCK WITH THIER WEIGHT SET UP PULLED THE SLED THE LONGEST DISTANCE.

That is so true, that track took more H.P. than I have ever seen in three years of pulling. Antioch (Hartsville) probably would be next in taking everything you could put to the ground.

Don't forget Antioch is a point pull, Red Hoss, and The Bulldog is not going to relent on biting at your backend for those points.

My dear friend, I have the cure for your terrible cold and a few of the cheap shots some clowns have taken at you the past few days. A trip down the track at Antioch on the Super H. If you do as good of a job as you have been doing, I will put you on the team with Lelia and Mr. B. (If we are on the same team, you cannot beat me in the points race!!!!! !!)

OK you win!! Take your wheelie bars off and let them hold the sled for you. I will do my best to pick the tractor up off of you. I have nothing to whine about. I didn't go. And anyway I think we figured out it was a hole infront of the sled or that clay suction or something like that.

NOPE . I AIN'T GOING TO TAKE MY WHELLIE BARS OFF . BUT I CAN STILL START THE SLED OK AND KEEP THE FRONT END DOWN . YOU SEE , I NEVER CARRY A GARDEN TRACTOR TO A PULL . I ALWAYS CARRY A PULLING TRACTOR.
