Will a 720-830 flywheel fit on a 620? Will it make a difference?
Thanks, 235

First, I doubt if the flywheel would fit at all - the size of the crankshaft is definitely going to be different. Second, why would you want to? Flywheels are matched and balanced to specific rotating assemblies. The larger pistons, rods and cranks in the diesels you mention are going to require a larger flywheel for balance, which would not balance the 620 properly, if they did fit. I assume what you're trying to do is use a heavier flywheel to increase momentum and rotating mass to increase intertia in the engine, but it's also going to take more power to turn the larger wheel, so it would probably be a wash anyway.
