Budd-

You need to evaluate the lug height issues prior to having the tires hardened. If you have tried several different air pressures and you are confident that the lugs are not too tall, then call these people for tire curing:

Hawthorn Tire Curing
Larry Hawthorn
Mike Hawthorn
(608) 938 – 4030
Monticello, WI

This is the contant info that I have, but it may be out of date.

You could park them in the shed for 20 years...but that would take to long.

FLEXING TOO MUCH. This may be for some different reasons. Too much tread bar height, most say 5/8 to 1 inch at the center is about right. I'm running a set of F151's (uncut) that's 1/4-3/8 at the center and I'm going to run a set that's 5/8 next year (the 3/8 pulled ok on some, bad on some, and the rest-Katty bar the door, this thing aint going to stop) the best advise I've been given is taller bar height = slightly more tire pressure. Too low tire pressure. If you have tried everything from 20-4 psi (in 1 psi increments) this isn't the problem (just keep in mind - a squating tire has less drawbar height but MORE CONTACT PATCH). If your tires are new, I've heard of everything from UV curing to several days in a grain bin at 175 deg.). Many on this board can add add advise on curing (if this what's necessary). Good Luck.
