Has anyone heard of a two barrel carburator for "M: thru "450"??? I have heard there is one or more out there. Made in Iowa. I know where there is one , but haven,t got to see it yet. It's a 2-barrel up-draft. Sounds like something BEAR would do.

I drove an M with one back when. The local grain elevator had two M's to pull anhydrous applicators with. The two barrel M had a modified governor, big pistons, and the two-barrel carb. It sound really nice wound up.

I work for National Cotton Council in Mississippi and had the privledge of working with Bud from 1993 until he retired. We still try to imitate Bud when we talk about all the stories he told us. He was a big influence on me when I started with the Council. Thank goodness for "momma" keeping him inline most of the time.

A company named Heisler in Hudson, IA made a two barrel manifold and carb for M-450. I have been told that there was a setup for H-350 as well. They made a variety of parts for tractors that improved functionality and performance. I know a fellow that tried the two barrel setup on a pulling M, but he could not get it to out perform the modified stock carburetor and manifold.
