I had a pretty good time at the Portersville pull, but I did'nt know which one you were? I had the Allis that had 28" tires - I thought I was gonna be pretty out matched in there with the Oliver 77's and Allis's with 38's but the old girl came through. I got 2nd in 3500# and 3rd in 4000#. Lots of competition - I'll be back next year with a better tractor. Hope to see ya at Stoneboro, I think I've seen the "A" Danny Boy. Look me up - My Tractors say "restored by Tool City Tractor" on the side. I had fun - now its time to tear the engine down again!

You may already know this but "Danny Boy" is owned by Jim Filges. Jim is our club's president. Heck of a nice guy--of course he is--he drives a Deere.

Hey guys, thanks. I had some misfortune with the "A" late this summer. It is down right now and I am not sure how what "clothes" it will be wearing for next year. Right now I am campaigning a 1951 Ollie 88 and having a lot of fun with it. I plan on going all over this machine over the winter. So I will have to keep the "inquiring" eyes off of it when we hold the club meetings in my garage!!!

Allis puller, seen your tractor and rig but did not get a chance to talk to you. I finished 1st in 4500 Div II, 1st in 5000 DIV II, 5500 DIV II not sure and 5th in 6500 DIV II.

Take care guys.

Jim

Big knob is down by Beaver... yes guys there is a "Beaver" in PA. Follow RT 68W out of Zeli for approx. 5 -6 miles and you will come to an intersection called Flowers Corners. Turn left and you will follow that route for approx 1.5 miles and at the top of the hill you will see a sign for the "Big Knob Grange". So in as many words one could say go to the Big Knob near Beaver. My milage are estimates so someone familiar may chime in.

Rules??? Not many. They need a good set of rules established for that club. I was down a few weeks ago with the Oliver 88 and I finished 1st place in 4500, 5500 and 6500.

no they just need to enforce the rules that we have in that club. oct 26 pull is a derby pull.
