Well gang our first pull was more fun than I would have ever thought. What a good feeling that is to be pulling our Farmall H down that track. I had the first pull in the 4000 lb class and it was 151 feet and the tractor spit a coughed and died. I got it started and it ran awful, I just barely made it off the track and back in time for another pull since I refused my first pull. My second pull was only about 120 feet and it died again. My son was pulling right after me and he went about the same as my second run. The next thing I know two of the veteran pullers are tearing the fuel bowl off my tractor and cleaning it while replacing the inline filter and adjusting my carb. After that my son Alex pulled 182 feet in the 4000 class and around 75 in the 5500. Our hearts are still pumping. Thanks to all for all of the support and encouragement,
D

Now this is what pulling is about. Instead of just sitting back and watching you have bad luck these guys jumped in and helped you get going so you could do the best possible. That is the part of pulling I enjoy the most. There is competiton but most everyone wants the other folks to do good as well.

Congradulations on your first pull and I hope you have alot of fun in the years ahead with it.
