More Information---the tractor is a 45 model A John Deere with 16.9 38 tires it blows horn only at start of pull in 3.5 mph class---if class changes to 4 mph I would like to go a little over 4 mph at 20% over rpms--- any help would be great

What about 18.4x38's? Might not be all the way, but would be faster than 16.9s.

I know what you could do, get Doug Matheny to change it to an all JD class? He seems to be the one causing that crap, maybe he could pull a few strings? P.S. how is he going to get to 4mph. and run 20% over? I hear his chicken choking!!!

Now you know me better than that I would't pull in an all JD class. Not enough around these parts. But if the rule is changed to 4mph 1st gear,I would like to be able to pull 4mph that is why I posted the question....not to sling mud.

If you can get them to throw out that stupid RPM rule, It would be easy to keep up. I don't forsee them going to 4mph, #1, people are having to crank their R's to keep up 3.5mph and #2 Doug's and Tinch's tractors don't run that fast and god knows that they ain't going to spend any money to keep up with the competition, just change the rules to suit them! I thought that it was just fine without the speedlimit!
